Compliance reports give you a snapshot of your facility's performance against Ngā Paerewa standards. This guide covers how to generate, read, and export them for audit preparation.

Good to know
You'll need manager-level access to generate compliance reports. Reports pull data from all modules — care plans, incidents, medication, training, and policies.
1
Open the Reports Section
From your dashboard, go to the "Reports" section in the sidebar. Select "Compliance Reports" from the dropdown menu. You'll see a list of available report templates including Ngā Paerewa, Medication, Incident, and Training reports.

Selecting Your Parameters

2
Configure Report Parameters
Choose a date range for the report. For audit preparation, select the full period since your last audit. You can filter by specific standards or include all Ngā Paerewa domains. Additional filters include care level, department, and staff member.

Compliance Note
For Ngā Paerewa audits, generate a report covering at least the 12-month period since your last audit. Auditors may request evidence across all domains.

Generating the Report

3
Generate and Review
Click "Generate Report." The system will compile data from care plans, incident records, staff training, and policy acknowledgements. Large reports may take a minute to process. You'll see a progress indicator while the report is being built.

Best Practice
Review the generated report before exporting. Red flags and gaps are highlighted — address these before your audit to demonstrate proactive compliance.

Exporting

4
Export Your Report
Use the export button in the top-right corner to save as PDF (for printing or sharing with auditors) or Excel (for further analysis and custom filtering). Reports include executive summaries, detailed breakdowns, and trend charts.
